Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is the largest international airport in France and the second busiest airport in Europe after London Heathrow in terms of passenger numbers.
It was opened in 1974.
It is named after Charles de Gaulle, leader of the french resistance during world war II , founder of the Fifth Republic and president of France.
There are 3 terminals which are the terminal 1, the Terminal 2 composed of terminals 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, 2G and the terminal 3.
